A Heart for Students

Welcome back WSU and U of I students! Hills Church is part of a small network of churches that focus on planting healthy local churches in university cities. Our sending church (Blue Sky Church, in Bellevue, WA) has reached many students and young professionals in the Seattle area. Hills Church has started in Pullman with the mission of inviting students to hear about Jesus in a clear and impactful way.

If you are a college student, we have numbers of places for you to get connected. Small groups are a great way for students to connect with one another and learn to apply the Bible together. Our students have found the music, casual atmosphere, relevant teaching, and genuine friendships to be a key part of their growing in their faith and following Jesus.

Hills Church also has an RSO status at WSU and will be participating in events throughout the school year. Check back often to see what we're up to! (We were just at the  All Campus Picnic and Palousafest inviting students to Hills and will be at the CUB every week handing out treats to students and inviting them to our Sunday Service during the semester.) It's great fun being around WSU and U of I's campuses and we're excited to have our current students and visiting students back at Hills!

We have a heart for reaching students at WSU and other colleges in the area. We will also always be a church that's well balanced with students, families, and young professionals since Jesus' church is supposed to be made up of all ages and demographics. If you have specific questions about connecting at Hills Church, you can email your questions here.

Getting Connected as a Student

We love students! Everything we do is open to undergrads and graduate students from WSU & U of I. You are central to the life and mission of the church.

College can be extremely busy, but God often uses these years to build you into the person you will be for the rest of your life. Many students have found the music, casual atmosphere, relevant teaching, and authentic friendships to be among their best experiences while in Pullman.

We have great small groups for students. Meeting other students is an important part of getting connected at Hills Church. We were intended to pursue God in a community. Take some time to look over the different small groups that have students, and make time to go, its the very best way to get connected with other students while at Hills!
